Heading For Kenya!
Hello friends… WE ARE SO EXCITED! It has been a challenging last few weeks with Michael in the hospital and Pamela very ill, but by the grace of God, the full team is healthy and ready for take-off. We’ll be heading to the Sacramento airport at 5:30am tomorrow ( Wednesday, May 27) for departure to LA, then Amsterdam, then Nairobi, where we will spend our first night at Heart Lodge a partner organization you can learn about here: https://africaheartlodge.com/.
Months of preparation… from team building and learning about the differences between American and Kenyan cultures, to spraying our clothes with a strong repellant to avoid malaria, we are ready to go! Please keep an eye out for periodic updates. BIG THANKS to everyone who contributed, both financially and in prayer, to make this trip possible. We are looking forward to coming alongside our Team in Kenya and visiting patients to show them the love God has for each one.
