In the fight against HIV/AIDS and TB, education is our most potent weapon. At LOMAMO, we’re committed to educating patients, families, and caregivers with the knowledge and resources they need to overcome obstacles and look forward to a healthy future.
Critical factors for achieving health includes teaching our patients to take their medication on time, every day, with nutritious food and clean water to absorb properly.
We teach the facts and expose the myths about how HIV/AIDS and TB are spread so our patients and their families can be confident in protecting themselves and their loved ones.
In addition to medical education, we provide spiritual and emotional support through the distribution of Bibles to those who ask for one. This provides comfort and solace to the hurting. Upon request, Bibles are provided at no charge to our patients, in the language of their choice: English, Swahili or Luo.
Our culturally sensitive education initiatives aim to combat HIV/AIDS stigma and misinformation, fostering understanding, acceptance, and support within families and communities.
We facilitate interactive sessions within families that have been torn apart by HIV/AIDS, encouraging active participation and dialogue, to bring reconciliation and healing to the whole family.
Your support enables us to continue our mission of education, empowerment, and advocacy in the fight against HIV/AIDS and TB. Together, we can break down barriers, dispel myths, and pave the way for a brighter, healthier future for all.
Take action today and join us in empowering individuals, families, and communities with the knowledge and resources they need to thrive. Together, we can make a difference.
