Born in the Spring of 1995, Washington is a graduate of Moi University School of Medicine, with a BSc. in Medical Psychology.
Washington’s passion to be a humanitarian began as soon as he started interacting with patients. He’d been asking God to enable him to faithfully serve the poor, the sick, and the orphans because he’s witnessed, first-hand, very sick family members and he understands the desperation that comes with sickness.
Washington’s late father, Vernest Odero Sungu, who was actively involved in serving and ministering to others, played a significant role in helping Washington define his passion.
Martin is husband toWashington is also the Founder of Police & Youth Mental Health Organization (PYMHO) based in Kisumu County to address the mental health needs of local police officers. His prayer request is for more grace to always do his best for the patients we interact with, because this is not our work but God’s work. LOMAMO is blessed to have Washington serving as a CareGiver.
