Daniel Naphtaly Ombija is a Public Health Officer with a passion for community health improvement and compassionate service to vulnerable populations. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health from Kenyatta University and is a registered Public Health professional with hands-on experience in both hospital and community settings.
Daniel has worked in health promotion, disease prevention, and community-based interventions. His background includes conducting public health compliance checks, disease surveillance, and leading community-led public health initiatives that strengthen preventive practices and improve health outcomes.
Previously, he was also involved in client engagement and field operations, strengthening his ability to work effectively with diverse communities. He is particularly passionate about integrating data-driven public health approaches with compassionate, patient-centered care.
At LOMAMO Foundation, Daniel is committed to supporting Home and Community-Based Care programs through accurate patient assessment, health education, and coordinated field support. He is driven by the conviction that quality care, dignity, and consistent follow-up can transform lives and restore hope in vulnerable households.
