What's our purpose?

Africa: HIV/AIDS, grinding poverty leaves millions sick or wounded without hope; abandoned.

Kenya: Love Matters Most provides food, medicine, compassionate urgent health care until people are
able to resume care for themselves and their families.

Our focus: Finding the sick, helpless, or abandoned poor in villages and urban slums; bringing hope, help and encouragement.

Our reputation: Love Matters Most is considered an essential part of Kisumu County healthcare as evidenced by the increasing number of referrals we receive from local Hospitals and Clinics, Community Healthcare Workers and former patients. Click here to read what one Hospital official had
to say.

What is Love Matters Most ?

OUR history

Love Matters Most, also known as LOMAMO, was created to serve the sick and dying with the love and compassion of Jesus Christ. We believe no one should feel abandoned in their struggle to live. LOMAMO is led by Pastor Martin Chamah along with a team of 6 Caregivers / Social Workers. We are blessed to have supporters from around the world including the Netherlands, the UK, North America and across Africa. Please join us!!

OUR TEAM

Sadly in Kenya, when someone is dying from HIV/AIDs, they are often abandoned to die, alone and without hope. Fortunately, our team has been building relationships with Community Health Workers for many years and we are blessed to learn about and come alongside those who are in great need. We assess the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of each patient enabling hospitalization and medical tests as required. Every week we bring nutritious food, love and encouragement from the Word of God.

OUR MISSION

“…is to serve the sick and dying with the love and compassion of Jesus Christ, gently leading them to the foot of the Cross with the hope of Salvation.” Out of the 34 million HIV-positive people worldwide, 69% live in sub-Saharan Africa. There are roughly 23.8 million infected persons in all of Africa. 91% of the world’s HIV-positive children live in Africa. It is a massive problem that we are addressing one day at a time. Join us.
